Treasure Chest介绍：
Treasure Chest这套教材在美国加州作为小学课本使用。这套教材为英语为非母语国家的学生做了专门的设计，比传统的国外教材更加适合亚洲的学生使用。可以作为独立的主教材使用。Treasure Chest 分为GK, G1-G6，每个级别30个主题，30个独立故事读本，其中故事中包括40% Fiction and 60% Nonfiction，将科学、生活和社会紧密相连。
Treasure Chest的特点：
1）美国小学语文ELL 教材：即遵循美国课程标准CCSS, 又符合英语非母语学生语言学习要求
2）语言学习与学科完美结合（SIOP/CLIL）:语言学习“掩蔽”在语言，艺术，科学，社会科学和健康学科中
3）自然语言习得规律（Input-Output）:遵循读听输入为先，配合语音，说写输出能力自然形成之学习规律
4）灵活的课程分层方案（Differentiation）:即可作为课堂主教材，也可以作为课后技能巩固，训练阅读能力使用。
为什么要学习Treasure Chest?
在国内，这套教材不仅教授大家英语，更加教授学生英语的艺术。传统英语教材教授大家听说读写，分开独立教学。而在这套教材中，我们使用SLOP这个美国非常流行的教学理念。我们以阅读为突破口，然后把听，说，写隐蔽在阅读的后面。众所周知，阅读是一个非常重要的能力，也是国内大多数孩子非常缺乏的能力。在这套教材中，我们教授学生阅读能力和技巧，让学生通过阅读去了解更多的知识和内容，从中提高听说写的能力。
